We make going to college as easy as it can be. Below are some steps you should take in gathering information about West Kentucky Community & Technical College:

1. Ask Questions
   
   • Search the college's Web site at http://www.westkentucky.kctcs.edu/.
   • Talk with someone about the process. The Center of Opportunity will have someone to answer your questions. Don't hesistate to ask for help.
2. Fill out an Application
   
   • There are several ways to get a WKCTC application. You can download an application at: http://www.westkentucky.kctcs.edu/aboutus/onlappl.shtml or you can apply online at: http://www.applyweb.com/apply/kctcs/.
3. Take an Assessment Test
   
   • Students must have placement scores from an approved assessment - ASSET, COMPASS, or ACT- in order to complete admissions. You can take a practice test online and find more information about COMPASS.
4. Establish a college E-mail account
   
   • You will receive an ID number when you have been accepted into our college. Use your ID to activate an E-mail account.
   • Use the account to access information.
5. Complete FAFSA
   
   • Enter information for financial aid.
   • Submit form online.
6. Advisor meeting
   
   • Talk with or E-mail an Academic Advisor.
   • View schedule and work through a possible program.
   • Establish your base line courses.
7. Register via online site
   
   • Login to registration site.
   • Select courses and enter data.
   • Print schedule and bill.
8. Visit online course orientation
   
   • See how process works.
   • Visit a class.
   • Navigate through a class.
